How Homescreen Uses AI
Last updated: October 30, 2026
Homescreen uses artificial intelligence. This page explains where, what information it uses, and the limits we put on it.
Where AI is used
- On homescreen.agency an AI assistant answers the chat from answers our team approved, and takes the details a person on our team needs to reach you. The chat says it is an AI assistant and that chats are recorded.
- A person on our team, never the AI, follows up with you and sets the price of any work in a meeting.
What AI receives
When a feature uses AI, the text, images or files that feature needs are sent to one of the AI providers below, which processes them and returns a result. We send only what the task needs, over encrypted connections. Each provider handles what it receives under its own terms and privacy policy.
| Provider | What they do for us | Where |
|---|---|---|
| Cerebras | Writes the chat's replies and checks each message you send | United States |
| xAI | Writes a reply when the first provider is slow, and is a backup when it is busy (Grok) | United States |
| Anthropic | A backup that writes the chat's replies when the providers above are busy (Claude) | United States |
The same list, with the other companies that work for us, is in Service Providers and Subprocessors.
People stay in charge
- A person reviews what we publish. AI assistants answer chats and calls, and may call, text and email people on their own, within the limits in When an AI assistant contacts you.
- AI can be wrong. Check what it produces before you rely on it.
- Homescreen does not use AI to make decisions with legal or similarly significant effects on people without a person involved.
Where you'll see AI
Anything an AI assistant says to you directly comes from Homescreen's AI unless it says it is a person. Content we publish may have been drafted with AI and is reviewed by our team.
When an AI assistant contacts you
- AI assistants may write and send our texts and emails, leave voicemails and voice notes, and answer chats and calls. They contact you about what you asked for and, only if you agreed to it, with marketing.
- Our Terms of Service are our notice, given before any call or message, that you may be dealing with an AI assistant. Ask whether you are talking to one and it tells you. Ask for a person and someone from our team replies.
- Calls and chats may be recorded and transcribed, and calls say so at the start.
